We went to Acadia National Park in Maine. It is on the East Coast of America and we camped in the national park. Acadia has mountains, the Atlantic Ocean which was freezing and it has lots of trees and lakes.
One day we hiked the "Beehive", a tall mountain where we had to climb through tiny spaces and steep ladders made of steel. If you were being silly and thought it was just a normal hike and fell over, you could die. From the very top of the "Beehive" you could see the sand beach in the Atlantic and little lakes.
Maine is famous for lots of lobsters. There are thousands of lobster pots dotted all over the water. We went for dinner to a lobster restaurant where they cooked the lobsters outside for you. Mum and dad had lobster and Lachy had lobster pasta.
